Adrian

Adrian is an experienced sales leader known for delivering sales turnarounds.

He has a proven track record in launching new products in market and restructuring sales teams to become high performing units.  

 

Adrian’s ability to assess a market and find opportunity is one of his many strengths, working smarter not necessarily harder. He is passionate about extending his knowledge and passion for sales to others.

Following completion of his studies, Adrian commenced his career in sales in the telecommunications industry, managing a flagship store and launch of 3 (Hutchison Telecom Australia) and their range of mobile phones in the Australian market. 

 

He then followed his passion for sales at CMG/Reliance Australia where he sold office supplies to B2B market. Based on opening a record of 120 new accounts in first 3 months he was awarded “Inductee of the Year” in 2002. From there he grew strength to strength moving into a Senior Sales Executive role as he exceeded sales targets.

 
 

Desire to expand his skillset to other industries, he moved into the medical industry as a sales representative, engaging Government, not-for-profit and corporate health clients. Adrian commenced his medical career at Matrix Surgical where he managed southern states, growing the sales figures by 40% year on year over 5 years for the laparoscopic device portfolio.

His outstanding results saw him entrusted to launch 2 new medical products to the Australian market as a National Product Specialist. By end of year 1 the product achieved $600K in turnover and by year it exceeded $1.8M. Achieving the results was enabled by his ability to engage with stakeholders across the entire purchasing line of health including hospital CEOs, state purchasing departments, surgeons, operating theatre managers, procurement teams and front-line staff (nurses).

 

Adrian was approached by by Lifehealthcare to sell surgical instruments and later assigned with building a general surgery laparoscopic division from the ground up. This ranged from capital equipment, prosthesis, instruments and disposable products. The division now turns over in excess of $10M per year. Throughout his 7 year tenure, his positions ranged from Senior Territory Manager roles to Regional Sales Manager with a team of staff as well as being called on to support sales team nationally with product training for the prosthesis range.

 
 

In 2018, Adrian joined NORA Group as a principal consultant to support the sales channel optimisation arm of the business.

NORA Group operates in support of a range of clients in the health, retail, automotive, events and technology sectors.
